Partnerships

McAuley Community Services for Women collaborates with many organisations to improve the services and support we offer to women and children in crisis. Our partnerships are rich and varied and include other Mercy ministries, community organisations, businesses and government.

Each partnership strengthens the work of our organisation in a variety of ways, enabling us to provide a comprehensive response across a range of projects and fields including health, housing, family violence and employment.

We are particularly grateful to the following partners:

Institute of Sisters of Mercy of Australia and Papua New Guinea

The Institute of Sisters of Mercy of Australia and Papua New Guinea has shown unfailing support for McAuley Community Services for Women. As an organisation building on the foundation of the Sisters of Mercy, we rely heavily on, and are immensely grateful for, this continued partnership.

Western Integrated Family Violence Partnership

In 2010, McAuley Community Services for Women was invited into the Western Integrated Family Violence Partnership. This partnership is funded through the Victorian Government and is tasked with providing an integrated response to women and their children in the western region of Melbourne who are escaping family violence.

Homeless Outreach Mental Health and Housing Service

The Homeless Outreach Mental Health and Housing Service comprises four agencies that together provide mental health outreach support and care coordination for women experiencing entrenched homelessness as a result of mental health issues and other conditions.

Royal District Nursing Service

The Royal District Nursing Service is a co-located service at McAuley House that provides health advice and advocacy to women experiencing mental health issues and homelessness.

Caraniche

Caraniche is a consulting firm that delivers specialist psychological services to the local government, health and welfare sectors. In collaboration with Caraniche, we developed an innovative peer support program for McAuley House.
