Family Violence Children’s Support Worker - McAuley Care Program

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two highly motivated experienced and enthusiastic Family Violence Children’s Support Workers.  These part-time, job share roles use flexibility and work together to fill daily shifts from 10am – 2pm, Monday to Sunday.

Based at the family violence crisis accommodation and support service, the Children’s Support Workers main focus is to support and engage children in activities where they will feel safe in a warm and welcoming environment. You will be passionate about children and thoroughly enjoy working with them. In addition to the activities, general support will be provided to women and their children escaping family violence. This work environment can often be challenging and stressful so experience in working in family violence is preferred.
