Volunteer

Volunteers make a meaningful contribution to McAuley Community Services for Women and are an essential part of our organisation.

By becoming a volunteer and supporting McAuley Community Services for Women, you will form part of a team working to help women and children have safer, brighter lives, while also gaining a unique and valuable personal experience.

At McAuley Community Services for Women we engage volunteers in meaningful and worthwhile roles. We are currently seeking people who would like to volunteer in one of the following ways:

  • Support residential workers in the evenings
  • Drivers for regular transport (Thursday mornings and/or Sunday evenings) and ad hoc requests
  • To assist with events which may be during business hours - requiring flexibility with times.

Perhaps you have a particular skill, or interest, that you would like to teach to enhance women's confidence, well being and life skills, such as mindfulness training, or massage. If you have some time, and believe you could support the work of McAuley Community Services for Women as a volunteer, please contact the volunteer coordinator.

We are also always looking for volunteers to host a High Tea, run in the Melbourne Marathon or put on events to support our work.

To register your interest in any of the positions listed, or to discuss volunteering possibilities at McAuley Community Services for Women, please call 03 9371 6600, email mcsw@mcauleycsw.org.au or submit a volunteer enquiry form below.
