Our Services

McAuley Community Services for Women works across the fields of family violence, homelessness and mental health.

This spectrum provides us with strong insight into the links between these three areas, enabling us to deliver effective, integrated services that empower women.

Today, we run a suite of services and programs focusing on family violence and homelessness. These are:

  • McAuley House provides welcoming accommodation for women who are homeless, and supports them on their journey towards independence.
  • McAuley Care  provides 24-hour crisis accommodation as well as refuges for women and their children escaping family violence.
  • McAuley Works is an integrated and holistic program assisting women who have experienced family violence or homelessness into the workforce.
  • Children's Programs works with children who either come to McAuley with their mother escaping family violence or with children at court to reduce the stress and impact of the court process on children and their mothers, and protect them from further trauma.
  • Engage to Change is a program that educates employers and staff about family violence, its impact on business and what can be done to support women experiencing violence.
