Advocacy & Policy 

McAuley Community Services for Women is committed to advocate for a better, safer and just society. This is enacted at an individual level through our programs and at a structural level through our Advocacy Program.

Our Advocacy Program has three main areas:

• Prevention of Family Violence and Homelessness
• Influence on Public Policy
• Promotion of MCSW work and mission

These areas are addressed through:

• Research
• Program evaluation
• Participation in sector networks and government committees
• Awareness raising through public speaking, media and lobbying.
