High Tea at Overnewton Castle

Overnewton Castle Receptions will hold a High Tea for McAuleyCommunity Services for Women on Saturday 28 May from 1pm to 3pm.

Debbie Burtonclay from Overnewton Castle Receptions said: “We host high tea’s regularly here at the Castle so I would like to utilize this event to raise awareness in the local community and abroad that women do have options."

"Many women have lost their lives through family violence and it warms my heart to have the opportunity to support an organisation that is helping women and children at such a terrible time,” she added.

“What better environment than this beautiful setting to do this in."

“Our five acres of private tranquil gardens are a stunning location for a High Tea, it will be a relaxed afternoon for everyone attending.”

“We hope that our High Tea for McAuley will raise $800."

The High Tea at the Castle will include finger sandwiches, savoury and sweet scones, hot savoury items and petit fours along with one glass of bubbly on arrival and bottomless tea & coffee.

“I hope we can make the High Tea a success to help McAuley with the amazing work they do.”
